JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The government set the day Monday, May 16, 2011, as a vacation together for civil servants. This was said by the Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare Agung Laksono via press release on Friday (13/05/2011) afternoon.

Great in the press release explains, has published a joint decision letter (LCS), the three ministers, namely the Minister of Religious Affairs Decree No. 2 of 2011, Decree of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Decree No. 120/MEN/V/2011, and Decree of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Reformation Bureaucracy Number SKB/01/M.PAN-RB/05/2011 dated 13 May 2011.

In the decree stated that in order to efficiency and effectiveness of working days, holidays, and leave together, it is deemed necessary reorganized its implementation. For that, the day Monday, May 16, 2011, expressed as a vacation together.

Previously, the government has set four national holidays and four days off together during 2011. National holidays for 2011 is January 1 (New Year AD), 3 February (Lunar New Year 2562), February 15 (Birthday of Prophet Muhammad SAW), March 5 (New Year Nyepi Saka 1933), 22 April (Death of Jesus Christ), 17 May (Vesak Year 2555).
